Ambidextrous Lecturer: The Dualism Phenomena of Lecturer Role as a Scientist and an Academic Entrepreneur in Indonesian Universities

This study is to investigate the academic entrepreneurship in Indonesia from an ambidexterity perspective. The aim of this research analyze utilized theory by Birkinshaw and Gibson, particularly contextual employed a quantitative methodology with surveyed 155 lecturers Public Universities using online questionnaire. Employing SPSS as data processing method, results show significant number who desire become entrepreneurs, but smaller percentage actively seek more information about entrepreneurs. result indicate gap between intention entrepreneur behavior entrepreneur. Tests statistical also that personal networking capabilities have impact on entrepreneurship. However, partial testing shows affect not significant.
